Online lessons and your video link
For the days a lesson moves to video (a sick student, snow, a trip), or students who always learn online. It's off until you use it.
First save your link: Settings › Online lessons, paste your Zoom, Google Meet, Teams or other meeting link in "Video link" (it must start with https://) and click "Save video link". Leave it empty to send the link yourself.
One lesson: open it from the Lessons page and click "Make this lesson online" (under Online lesson). "Make this lesson in person" switches it back. It works for lessons still to come, and tutors can switch their own students' lessons.
A student who's always online: on their page, under Online lessons, tick "All of their lessons are online" and click "Save".
What families see: the lesson reminder email says "This lesson is online:" with your link; the family portal shows "This lesson is online:" and the link next to the lesson (Overview and Lessons tabs); and calendar sync (yours and families') puts the link in the event's location and notes. With no link saved, they're told you'll send it. Settings › Online lessons shows how many lessons are online right now.
Billing doesn't change: an online lesson is billed like any other.
Names like Settings › Team are menus inside LessonPaid, once you're signed in. Already have an account? Log in. Still stuck? Email hello@lessonpaid.com.
