Marking attendance
The Lessons page has a "Mark attendance" box listing lessons from the last 7 days that nobody has marked yet. Tap Present, Absent, Late cancel or No-show.
Or open any lesson. The Attendance section has Present (came to the lesson), Absent (excused) (missed it, with fair notice), Late cancel (cancelled too late to reschedule) and No-show (didn't come and didn't let you know). "Clear attendance" removes it. You can mark a lesson ahead of time if a family says they'll miss it, and then no reminder goes out for it.
Attendance is for your records and doesn't change billing. If you're not charging for a missed lesson, cancel it instead.
Each student's page shows an attendance summary and their Lesson history. If you use payroll, attendance decides which lessons count toward a tutor's pay: present lessons always count, excused absences never do, and late cancels, no-shows and unmarked lessons follow your payroll rules.
Tutors can mark attendance for their own students. Once a lesson has happened, only the people who manage that pay can change it.
