What LessonPaid doesn't do yet

We'd rather tell you up front. Today LessonPaid doesn't:

  • charge a card on file automatically (there's no autopay: parents pay each invoice themselves, by card or your own way)
  • send text message reminders (coming soon; reminder emails go out today)
  • handle group lessons or classes (each lesson is for one student)
  • sell prepaid lesson packages, or put siblings on one invoice (each student gets their own; a sibling discount works per student)
  • change a paid invoice (put the charge on their next invoice instead)
  • schedule every-other-week lessons or two regular slots per student (add extra lessons one by one)
  • let parents reschedule lessons themselves (they can cancel within your notice rules, and book your makeup times with a makeup credit)
  • sync both ways with your calendar (it's one way, into your calendar app)
  • connect to QuickBooks, Xero or your bank, or store receipt photos
  • build a multi-page website, add photo galleries, or use your own domain
  • send email from your own domain (emails come from your studio name plus "via LessonPaid", with replies to you)
  • pay your tutors (payroll works out what you owe; you pay them)
  • come as an app-store app (it works in any phone or computer browser, and you can add it to your home screen: see "Add LessonPaid to your home screen")

If you rely on one of these today, it's worth knowing before you switch: TutorBird and My Music Staff are mature all-in-one platforms with extras like a website builder, texting and accounting integrations.

Founding Studio Pass holders can request features, and their requests go to the front of the line. Anyone can ask: hello@lessonpaid.com.

Names like Settings › Team are menus inside LessonPaid, once you're signed in. Already have an account? Log in. Still stuck? Email hello@lessonpaid.com.
