Will parents like it? (My parents aren't techy)

Parents don't need an account, an app or a password. They get normal emails with a link: the invoice opens on any phone, with your studio name, logo and payment instructions, and replies come to you.

It feels like you, not software: emails come from your studio name plus "via LessonPaid", in your branding and your own wording, and you can check them first with "Email me a test of all 3".

Reminders are polite: a lesson reminder the day before, and overdue follow-ups that start friendly. It saves you the awkward money conversation.

Parents get easy extras: an "I've already paid" button (no more screenshots) and, if you turn it on, a family portal they open with a one-time email link to see lessons, practice notes, files and invoices. Families can unsubscribe from announcements; lesson reminders and invoices still arrive.

Tip: tell families before the first invoice. Write a note in Messages, or use the Get Paid Kit's "Announcement: switching to automatic invoices" template (a Founding Studio Pass bonus).
