Text message (SMS) reminders (coming soon)
Status: coming soon. LessonPaid doesn't send text messages yet. Settings shows "Text message lesson reminders" with a "Coming soon" badge, and families get the reminder emails meanwhile.
You can get ready now: add each parent's number as "Parent mobile" on the student's page, and tick "Parent agreed to get text reminders" only if they've said yes. Imports keep mobile numbers too, but nobody is signed up for texts automatically.
How it will work once it launches: one text the day before each lesson, only to parents who agreed, each ending with "Reply STOP to opt out". You switch it on in Settings › Automatic reminders, and can email families a link to sign themselves up from Messages. Texts are for paid plans, not the free trial.
Announcements are email only.
Names like Settings › Team are menus inside LessonPaid, once you're signed in. Already have an account? Log in. Still stuck? Email hello@lessonpaid.com.
