Offering an open slot to your waitlist

When a weekly time opens up, email it to the families who registered and let the first one claim it. Go to Website › Inquiries and click "Offer an open slot", or open a cancelled lesson that's still to come and click "Offer this slot to the waitlist" (its day, time and length fill in).

Pick the "Day", "Start time" and "Length (minutes)", add a "Note for families (optional)" such as when it starts, and choose how long "Families can claim it for" (2, 3, 7 or 14 days). Under Families, tick who gets it: waitlist sign-ups come first and are ticked for you; anyone who registered and isn't enrolled or declined can be picked (up to 100). Click "Email the families picked".

Each family gets an email from your studio name with a "See the time and claim it" button. It opens their own page, no login: the slot, your note and "Claim this time". The first family to claim it gets it; everyone else then sees that another family claimed it first. Nobody sees who else it went to.

You get an email straight away. Under "Your offers" it shows "Claimed" with the family's name and email; click "Enroll them" to make them a student (or link the student already in your studio), with the slot as their weekly lesson (a student who already has a weekly slot keeps theirs). Then set their price on their page.

One email and one link per family: brothers and sisters who registered with the same email share one. It's open until the end of its last day in your time zone. A family you enroll or decline after it went out can no longer claim it.

"Take it down" closes an open offer, and its links then say it has closed. During the free trial, up to 25 families a day get these emails (offers and rate-change emails together); "Email the rest" sends to the families still waiting.
